You Never Know What Ya Got Till It's Gone

How Understated Athletes Are Often Overshadowed for Abstaining from the Public Eye  (Shoutout to Andrew Goldsmith for the title) Sports are never-ending so when I say, "This year in sports..." I do not even know where it begins and where it ends. But I will say this, I hope you all have appreciated these last few months that we have had.  Now this is not a blog post of reflection, but I feel as though some things that have happened within our sports world should be touched upon. What drew me to write this you may ask? Well, Serena Williams just won her 22nd Grand Slam and Tim Duncan just announced his retirement. (As if Kobe was not hard enough, Timmy. How could you do this now?) This should look familiar.  It was time for Serena to tie the record for most-Grand Slams and it was time for the great Tim Duncan to hang it up... And it is time that we appreciate what has always been right in front of us.  Is this what the kids call a 'bro...

Positive Impact of Social Media, What?!

Is Bortles better than Manziel? Is Jadeveon Clowney going number one overall? What are the Houston Texans going to do with the very first pick of the 2014 draft? And the one that seems to be the most intriguing... Where in the world is Mr. Football going to end up?  To the best of my ability, I can give you some insight. Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay might be the better ones to answer your questions. They are some sort of mock draft legends, right?  Legendary mock drafters.  Let's start by talking about Johnny Manziel because I am sure that you have not heard enough yet, correct? Everyone knows that he is a top five pick for sure. The Minnesota Vikings might have something to say about that. Minnesota's first pick is at number eight. If he isn't number one then he surely won't be ...
